What place is this I'm in
Where I pretend I'm not afraid
Never afraid
Is this some dream I'm in
Nothing seems real and everything's changing, changing
I'm alone in a towering wood so deep
And the shadows of my life are all I can see
For the first time I've come face to face with myself
I'm a traveler in the forest of my fears

Ghosts from forgotten past
Sins ill remembered all are here
All of them here
Fears deemed so small before
Loom up and show their faces so clearly
So clearly
Though I gotta find escape from here somehow
All my efforts fail me here
They fail me now
Only the power of God can rescue me from myself
I'm a traveler in the forest of my fears
